Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control a gain when a signal strength is changed. SOLUTION: A control signal generation unit 210 switches on or off a pre-stage amplifier unit 10 located at the pre-stage of a tuner 100, based on an MER (Modulation Error Ratio) measurement value. In other words, it is estimated whether the effect of a noise component on a desired component is decreased in a signal inputted into a demodulator 200 or not when the pre-stage amplifier unit 10 is switched, based on the MER measurement value.
