HIGH DENSITY CONNECTOR FOR HIGH SPEED TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high density connector for a high speed transmission which can be used for a signal wire contact of a higher density and has a simple structure and can easily connect electrical components. SOLUTION: The high density connector is provided with a female connector which has a connector body on which a plurality of contact accommodating concave portions are formed and a plurality of female contacts which are pressed in and held in the contact accommodating concave portion, and a male connector which has a connector body on which a plurality of slits are formed and a plurality of male contacts which are pressed in and held in the slits. The female contacts are arranged in plurality so that the female contacts neighboring back and forth can be arranged diagonally in zigzag and contact points of the male contacts contacting with the female contacts are arranged in plurality in zigzag corresponding to the arrangement of the female contacts, and out of the female contacts arranged in zigzag, two rows neighboring back and forth are a pair of signal wire contacts and one row pinching the pair of signal wire contacts is a grounding contact row.
