CREATING OPERATION SUPPORT DEVICE FOR FLIER/CATALOG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately calculate the number of editions classified by color necessary for a plurality of local editions and their combinations. SOLUTION: Codes for specifying a block configuring printing plates, merchandise to be placed in the block, and respective components such as the pictures or prices are stored in a placing information storage means 20 as data having a hierarchical structure about each flier edition of the Kanto/Northeast/Kansai/Kyushu from a placing information input means 10 by using a merchandise database DB. Designated colors to be used for the printing of each component are set in a designated color setting means 50. A diversion availability determination means 30 determines the availability of diversion of the other editions by color about each edition by color of CMYK of each local edition based on information in a placing information storage means 20 and setting information in a designated color setting means 50, and records the result in a determination result recording means 40. When it is determined that the diversion is available, the identification code of the new edition is recorded, and when the diversion is available, the identification code of the diversion object edition is recorded.
