Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of cracks on a display panel while reducing the number of division lines. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a display device includes: a lamination process for forming a laminated substrate base material 34 by laminating a first substrate base material 31 to a second substrate base material on each of which terminal portions are formed in each panel formation area 40; and a division process for dividing the laminated substrate base material 34 in each panel formation area. The manufacturing method further includes: an aperture formation process for forming an aperture 36 in an area facing the terminal portion of the second substrate base material 32 before the lamination process; and an inspection process for inspecting lighting by supplying an inspection signal to each terminal portion exposed through the aperture 36 on the laminated substrate base material 34 before the division process.
