Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusing body which uniformizes biased light emitted from a light source and further attains rise of light utilization efficiency and rise of productivity by reduction in thickness, integration and member saving and which can maintain its performance even when exposed to strong light for a long time and further to provide a manufacturing method of the light diffusing body, a surface light emitting apparatus, a display and a lighting apparatus using the light diffusing body. SOLUTION: In the light diffusing body, a light diffusing part, which is made of a foamed body foamed by impartation of radiation energy and thermal energy and in which air bubble density has a prescribed distribution pattern, is provided on a surface of a light translucent support or is held between light translucent supports and the light translucent support has UV absorbency.
