HUMIDIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier that improves a humidifying function by equalizing a wind velocity of air passing through a humidifying filter as a whole and eliminating a region of the filter where ventilation is not performed, and improving humidifying efficiency by preventing air from leaking from between the humidifying filter and a main body. SOLUTION: The humidifier is equipped with the main body 5 provided with a blower 4 in an air passage 3 formed so as to make a suction port 1 communicate with a blowout port 2, a water tank 6 to which water is supplied from a water supply tank, and the humidifying filter 8 disposed upstream of the blower 4 and rotatably provided with a horizontal shaft 12a as a center while its lower part is constantly immersed in the accumulated water of the tank 6, the humidifying filter 8 having with a three-dimensionally structured intermediate layer 11 between a planar surface layer 9 and a back side layer 10. Indoor air is passed through the entire humidifying filter 8 from the suction port 1 at substantially equal pressure and a wind velocity. By the water retention and ventilation properties of the intermediate layer 11, the humidifying amount per air amount is increased and the ventilation resistance of the humidification filter 8 can be reduced.
