Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure for attaching a porous metal material having foamy pores dispersed at high porosity on a fixed member and an installation method materializing firm fixation irrespective of material of the fixed member and the porous metal material. SOLUTION: A fixing layer 16 is provided along a surface so as to enter foamy pores exposed on the surface of the porous metal material 10 in the installation structure. The fixing layer 16 is fixed on the fixed member. The structure can be provided by a method including a process for applying film forming material along the surface to enter the foamy pores exposing on the surface of the porous metal material, a process for hardening the film forming material and forming the fixing layer, and an installation process for fixing the fixing layer to the fixed member.
