Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for controlling combustion in a hot blast stove with which the input heat quantity into each stove can be optimized under restricting conditions on the facility and on the operation. SOLUTION: In the method for controlling the combustion in the hot blast stove, in which the hot blast of desired temperature and flowing rate is supplied to a blast furnace by repeatedly performing a cycle of the combustion period and the blasting period in each pre-decided control cycle to the plurality of hot blast stove sets 1; this control method is performed as the following processes, that a process, in which the predictive value in the transition of heating level from the next blasting period to the future to the time-series of the inputting heat quantity from the present to the future, based on the input heat quantity in the combustion period in each stove and a model showing the response of the heat level in each stove at the blasting period in each stove to the above input heat quantity at the combustion period; a process for obtaining the time-series of the inputting heat quantity into each stove so as to optimize the prescribed evaluation function in the restricting range on the operation and on the facility, based on the predicting value; and a process for adjusting the inputting heat quantity in each stove according to the input heat quantity corresponding to the present time in the time-series of the inputting heat quantity in each stove.
