Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability and the yield of electrode connection. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic probe has a plurality of piezoelectric elements 15 vibrating in the thickness direction Z and arranged in the array direction X substantially orthogonally crossing with the thickness direction Z, wherein each piezoelectric element 15 has a piezoelectric substance 17 consisting of a piezoelectric material, a plurality of signal electrodes 19 and earth electrodes 21 formed at the both end faces substantially orthogonally crossing with the thickness direction Z of each piezoelectric substance, and a plurality of non-piezoelectric portions 23 stored in each piezoelectric substance 17, arranged along the lens direction X substantially orthogonally crossing with the thickness direction Z and the array direction Y and having a substantially rectangular shape.
