ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE AND ITS STATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a manufacturing process of a stator coil, and to improve reliability in short-circuit prevention as well as joint characteristics of a jointed part of a coil segment. SOLUTION: A stator of rotating electrical machine comprises a stator core comprising a plurality of slots, and a plurality of coil segments 2a and 2b attached to respective slots for forming the stator coil. The jointed parts of coil segments 2a and 2b are jointed adjacently outside the slot. Between the jointed parts of the coil segments 2a and 2b, a conductive spacer 1 is provided to dispose a space between adjoining parts other than the jointed parts of coil segments. The jointed parts of the coil segments 2a and 2b are jointed to the spacer 1 by welding or through a jointing member. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
