Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a motor which can further rigidly pinch the external peripheral part of a core by end plates. SOLUTION: The rotor 10 comprises: the core 11 formed by laminating electromagnetic steel plates 11a; the end plates 12 which pinch the core 11; and a pin 13 which is inserted into the core 11 and the end plate 12, and fixes the end plates 12 to the core 11. The rotor is also constituted by including: a hole 11b which is formed at the core 11, and into which the pin 13 is inserted; holes 12a which are formed at the end plates 12 coaxially with the hole 11b, and have inside diameters larger than that of the hole 11b; a head 13a which is formed at the pin 13, and swollen in the radial direction so as to internally contact with internal faces 12b of the holes 12a; a recess 13b which is formed at the head 13a coaxially with the pin 13; and a locking part 13c which is formed at the edge 13e of the recess 13b of the head 13a, expanded in the radial direction by flare processing, and locked to the end plates 12.
