Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electronic component allowing reduction of its thickness, allowing rotary torque of a slider to be easily increased at a constant value as required, and capable of preventing the occurrence of a crack on a board in crimping an end of a shaft. SOLUTION: The rotary electronic component includes: the board 10 having a shaft insertion hole 13 and provided with a slide pattern 15 on the upper surface; a shaft 33 projecting on the board 10 through the shaft insertion hole 13 of the board 10; and the slider 70 having a dish-like bottom part 75, provided with an insertion hole 79 for rotatably inserting the shaft 33 at the center of the bottom part 75, and rotatably installed on the board 10 by crimping the tip of the shaft 33 inserted in the insertion hole 79. A surface around the shaft insertion hole 13 on the upper surface of the board 10 is formed into an inclined surface 23 recessed toward the shaft insertion hole 13, and the bottom part 75 of the slider 70 is brought into contact with the inclined surface 23.
