TWO-DIMENSIONAL CODE READING DEVICE AND TWO-DIMENSIONAL CODE READING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read a two-dimensional code and reliably restore the original data. SOLUTION: A detection part 184 images a two-dimensional code, such as a dot code 170, in which a plurality of rectangular unit areas two-dimensionally including a plurality of sample points for sampling data, surrounded by markers so that the plurality of unit areas may be included in one imaging screen by two-dimensionally arranging the markers separated from each other in the X axis direction and the Y axis direction in an area in which data are two-dimensionally recorded in the X axis direction and the Y-axis direction. A marker detection part 216 obtains the center position of the respective markers from one imaging picture including the two-dimensional code, a data arrangement direction detection part 218 specifies the respective unit areas on the basis of the center position of the respective markers, an address control part 220 obtains two-dimensional sample points for every unit area to sample the two-dimensionally recorded data from the respective specified areas.
