Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery management device in a vehicle which simplifies a constitution, and accurately obtains a state of a battery. SOLUTION: The battery management device includes: a current detection means 2 for detecting a current between terminals of the battery 1; a voltage detection means 3 for detecting a voltage between the terminals of the battery 1; an open voltage determination means 4a for determining an open voltage of the battery 1; and an internal resistance calculation means 4b for calculating an internal resistance of the battery 1 based on the current between the terminals detected by the current detection means 2, the voltage between the terminals detected by the voltage detection means 3, and the open voltage detected by the open voltage determination means 4a.
