PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of displaying information in response to convenience of a user. SOLUTION: Interactive communication means are provided respectively in an air conditioner body 1 and a remote controller 3, a measuring means is provided in the air conditioner body 1 to measure a power consumption or an electricity rate, a request key 12 and display 5 are provided on the remote controller 3, a data is transmitted from the air conditioner body 1 to the remote controller 3, and the remote controller 3 makes the power consumption or the electricity rate from the start of operation up to the point thereof displayed on the display 5, when the request key 12 is operated during an operation of the air conditioner, and the data is transmitted to the remote controller 3 from the air conditioner body 1, and the remote controller 3 makes the power consumption or electricity rate of the last operation displayed on the display 5, when the request key 12 is operated during the stop of the air conditioner.
