WASHBOWL CLEANING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method which enables a washbowl to be surely cleaned with ease. SOLUTION: A funnel-shaped separate manifold 25 is incorporated into the peripheral edge 23a of the washbowl 23, and a surface portion 25a thereof is formed in such a manner as to continue in a surface shape approximately identical with that of an inner surface 23b of the bowl at the peripheral edge 23a of the washbowl 23. The surface portion 25a is provided with first and second discharge openings 27 and 28. Water containing a detergent is used as cleaning water P for the washbowl 23. The two sets of first discharge openings 27 are provided in such a manner as to discharge the cleaning water P in one peripheral-edge direction and the other peripheral-edge one along the peripheral edge 23a, and the three sets of second discharge openings 28 are provided in the vicinity of a section below the first discharge opening 27 in such a manner as to discharge the cleaning water P in the downward direction of the washbowl 23.
