Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator seismic sensor capable of reducing impacts on each equipment of an elevator by an aftershock subsequent to a main shock. SOLUTION: The seismic sensor 8 is provided with a control arithmetic unit 11A comprising a triaxial accelerometer for detecting acceleration of each of X-, Y- and Z-axes, converting the acceleration detected by the triaxial accelerometer to an acceleration value with respect to each predetermined time and outputting the acceleration value; a storage device 15 for storing set values corresponding to operation acceleration values of at least the X-axis and Y-axis for making the elevator perform earthquake control operation; and a control device 14 selectively commanding earthquake control operation in accordance with a relationship of the magnitude between the acceleration value output from the control arithmetic unit 11A and the set value stored in the storage device 15. The control device 14 includes an aftershock response setting switching means for performing processing to lower a set value corresponding to the operation acceleration value of a transverse axis after the earthquake control operation is performed in accordance with the operation acceleration value of the transverse axis including the X-axis and Y-axis.
