OPENING TRIM WEATHER STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening trim weather strip enabling the boundary thereof with a decorative member to be covered by easily positioning a cover lip on the upper surface of the decorative member when installed. SOLUTION: This opening trim weather strip 10 comprises a mounting base 20 and a seal part 30. The seal part 30 comprises a seal wall 32 and the cover lip 34 which covers the end of the decorative member for decorating a vehicle body opening peripheral edge 6. An easily-releasable chord-shaped member 36 is formed on the inner surface of the cover lip, or at the seal part or the mounting base near a root of the cover lip. A tab sheet 40 having an adhesive surface on one surface is placed on the outer surface of the cover lip at least at one position, and a part of the chord-shaped member is pulled out to the outer surface of the cover lip. Also, the chord-shaped member 36 is disposed at the center of the tab sheet, folded along the chord-shaped member 36, and the adhesive surfaces are pasted to each other and fixed.
