ELECTROWINNING METHOD FOR TIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrowinning method for tin, by which electrowinning of tin can be efficiently carried out at a low cost from a tin-containing basic solution. SOLUTION: In the electrowinning method for tin, using a tin-containing basic solution containing impurities as an electrolytic solution, a cathode in which at least its surface is made of titanium is used and tin is electrodeposited on the cathode until the thickness of electrodeposited tin becomes about 0.3-0.5 mm, then a sheet-like tin deposited on the cathode is peeled off to recover the sheet-like tin as a tin plate, thereafter, the recovered tin plate is pressed to flatten swollen parts on its surface and used as a seed plate, and tin is electrodeposited on the seed plate.
