Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound becoming an organic semiconductor material having high mobility and stably acting in the atmosphere, and to provide an organic transistor formed from the compound. SOLUTION: The compound having [1]benzochalcogeno[3,2-b][1]benzochalcogenophene skeleton is represented by formula (I). The compound can improve the adhesion to an electrode compared to a conventional compound having a [1]benzochalcogeno[3,2-b][1]benzochalcogenophene skeleton and a 1,4-phenylene ring as essential components, and as a result, characteristics of the FET element can be further improved while maintaining the high atmospheric stability in both the FET element structures of a bottom contact type and a top contact type.
