PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone capable of adding new functions other than the programs which are stored in the mobile phone, in advance, and readily expanding the functions of the mobile phone, by selecting/specifying and receiving a program having the new function, based on a menu received from a supply-source computer. SOLUTION: The mobile phone has a transmission/reception unit 11, a display unit 19, an input unit 18, a first memory for the function programs which are stored, in advance, a second memory which receives and stores a function program which is transmitted from the supply source computer and expands the functions of the mobile phone, and a CPU 16. When the transmission/reception unit 11 receives the function program which expands these functions, the CPU 16 writes the received function program to the second memory. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
