Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal structure of a superconducting cable capable of grounding a superconducting layer without having degradation of insulating performance of an electric insulation layer, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the terminal structure of a superconducting cable equipped with a cable core 102 having a superconducting shield layer 203 and an electric insulation layer 202, electrodes (a ground electrode, a connecting electrode) 1 are arranged on an outer periphery of the superconducting shield layer 203, and the superconducting shield layer 203 and the electrodes 1 are connected by low melting-point soldering 5. On the ground electrode, a ground wire 3 for grounding the superconducting shield layer 203 is connected. Moreover, in case a multi-phase cable is equipped with a plurality of cable cores, by coupling electrodes 1 mutually with a conductive coupling member, the superconducting shield layers 203 are short-circuited to each other.
