ELECTRO-OPTICAL APPARATUS, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesion between a seal material and a sealing agent and to suppress the shape deterioration of a sealing part on an injection port of an electro-optical substance. SOLUTION: An electro-optical apparatus is provided with a pair of substrates (10, 20), the electro-optical substance (50) held between the pair of substrates and the seal material (52) arranged in a seal area (52a) located around a pixel area (10a) on the substrate to stick the pair of substrates to each other and having the injection port (160) for injecting the electro-optical substance between the pair of substrates. The seal material has a first taper part (160a) formed so that the width of the injection port may be reduced from the outer circumferential side to the inner peripheral side of the seal area when observing the seal material on the substrate two-dimensionally and a second taper part (160b) formed so that the width may be increased from the outer circumferential side to the inner peripheral side.
