CONTROL DEVICE FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive crime prevention device capable of discouraging intrusion into a house by using an air conditioner used daily in the house, and deceiving an intruder that a resident is in the house. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a human body detection control means 3 for detecting whether or not a person is in a room by using a human body detection sensor 8, an outdoor fan operation control means 4 capable of controlling operation of an air fan of an outdoor unit from an indoor unit, the air fan 5 of the outdoor unit, and a voice notifying means 10 for notifying setting contents of the air conditioner by voice. When it is determined that a resident is not in a room by the human body detection control means 3, even if operation of the air conditioner is stopped, only the air fan 5 of the outdoor unit is continuously operated by the outdoor fan operation control means 4. By notifying some setting contents by voice by the voice notifying means 10, an intruder can be deceived that a resident is in the house. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
