Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine in which the intake efficiency is not lowered for cutting off intake air. SOLUTION: In this engine, when an engine stop switch 1 is operated to an engine stop position 2, the intake air into a combustion chamber 3 is cut off. A power cutoff device 5 is installed midway in a valve train 4. The power cutoff device 5 is linked with the engine stop switch 1. When the engine stop switch 1 is operated to the engine stop position 2, the power transmission of the valve train 4 is cut off by the power cutoff device 5.
