SOLUTION: The powder coating composition contains a silane represented by formula (I), its hydrolysate or condensation product as an ingredient. In formula (I) R1is a hydrocarbon, acyl, alkylsilyl or alkoxysilyl group; R2is a monovalent hydrocarbon group; R3is an alkylene, optionally interrupted with one or more ether oxygen atoms; a is 0 or 1; Z is a direct bonding or divalent organic linking group; X is an m-valent organic group or H; and m is an integer of 1-20.
