Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process of ferrite hollow microparticles by which ferrite hollow microparticles having a sufficient strength are manufactured without sintering or reinforcing the strength with a non-magnetic substance. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process of the ferrite hollow microparticles which are strong because the crystal particles are bound with each other and have through holes permitting fluid materials to pass through comprises a ferrite covering-formation step in which template microparticles are immersed in an aqueous solution containing divalent iron ions, the divalent iron ions are adsorbed on the surface of the template microparticles in the divalent iron ion-containing solution, a part of the divalent iron ions are oxidized to generate a ferrite phase to create a covering having a ferrite layer on the surface of the template microparticles and a template-dissolving and removal step in which the template portions are removes from the template microparticles having the covering having the ferrite phase by using a template-dissolving substance to leave the covering having the ferrite phase as shells.
