Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method of steel, which method can improve the quality of a cast slab by reducing bubbles of Ar gas and enclosures included in the cast slab produced by the continuous casting. SOLUTION: In the continuous casting method of steel, molten steel 4 is discharged from an immersed nozzle 3 having a discharge angle θ satisfying the formula shown. A whirling flow 11 is formed in the meniscus in a casting mold 2 by means of an electromagnetic stirring device 10. A DC magnetic field having a magnetic flux density of 0.1 tesla or higher is applied to the molten steel 4 discharged from the immersed nozzle 3 by means of an electromagnetic brake device.
