Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of detecting the temperature of a pot at a high speed, improving temperature detection accuracy further, appropriately controlling the heating amount of a pot heating means, and improving the installability of an infrared sensor in addition. SOLUTION: A plurality of infrared transmission parts 7 for transmitting infrared rays from the pot are provided, and the infrared sensor 8 includes a sensor base material 20, a plurality of detecting thermal elements 22, a compensating thermal element 23 for compensating the detection temperature of the detecting thermal elements 22, an infrared absorbing layer 24 provided facing the detecting thermal elements 22, and an infrared reflecting layer 25 provided facing the compensating thermal element 23. Between the infrared transmission parts 7 and the infrared sensor, an infrared reflector 8a for reflecting the infrared rays transmitted through the infrared transmission parts 7 to the infrared sensor 8 is provided. Thus, the temperature of the pot is detected at a high speed; the temperature detection accuracy is improved further, and the heating amount is appropriately controlled. In addition, since the infrared rays are reflected in the direction of the infrared sensor by the infrared reflector, the degree of freedom of the installation of the infrared sensor is high and the installability is excellent.
