ELECTRIC WIRE GRIPPING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire gripping device which does not damage electric wire owing to compression of the wire, requires no compressor, can be reused and recycled, is improved in installation workability, and can be employed as an electric wire terminal gripping device. SOLUTION: The electric wire gripping device is provided with: a first clamp with a first groove having a semi-circular cross-sectional shape, and a second clamp with a second groove having a semi-circular cross-sectional shape so as to face the first groove are connected to each other via a hinge so as to be openable/closable; interposing members having fastening-type cylinders are arranged in the two grooves; the electric wire is inserted into the cylinders of the interposing members; an opening between the two clamps is fastened by a fastening member; and the electric wire is gripped via the interposing members. A plurality of slits radially extending from the upper part of an center axial line of cylindrical shapes of the cylinders are formed at the cylinders of the interposing members, and the electric wire gripping device has a fastening-type structure in which the slits serve as fastening margins.
