SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a damping property on a high-frequency side of a passband by reducing the size of a SAW device including a cascaded DMS filter. SOLUTION: The device includes a cascaded first stage filter and a cascaded second stage filter. Each of the filters includes a central IDT to which an input terminal or an output terminal is connected, a first external IDT electrode adjacent to one of reflectors, and a second external IDT adjacent to the other reflector. On the signal sides of the first external IDT and the second external IDT of the first stage filter and the first external IDT and the second external IDT of the second stage filter, comb-shaped electrodes are electrically connected to the adjacent reflectors. Further, one of the reflectors of the first stage filter and one of the reflectors of the second stage filter are electrically connected to each other, and the other reflector of the first stage filter and the other reflector of the second stage filter are electrically connected to each other.
