SOLUTION: The shoe adaptor 7 is detachably attached on an imaging apparatus 1 provided with an apparatus body 2 having a recording reproducing section for recording and/or reproducing information signals for a recording medium and a lens barrel 3. The shoe adaptor 7 is provided with attaching operation sections 57, 60 used to execute attaching operation on the apparatus body 1, and an accessory shoe 55 having an accessory to be mounted thereon.
