IMAGING APPARATUS AND AUXILIARY RECORDING MEDIUM UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus equipped with a plurality of communication terminals with an external device branched from the same transmission path, capable of maintaining reliability in connection between the apparatus itself and the external device. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with: an apparatus main body 2 having a mounting section 23 in which a first main-body-side terminal section 163 having a recording medium unit 5 connected thereto and a second main-body-side terminal section 166 branched from a signal line 182 identical to that of the main-body-side terminal section 163 are provided; and the recording medium unit 5 having a unit-side recording reproducing section 185 for housing a recording medium 131 and recording and reproducing information signals for the recording medium 131, a unit-side terminal section 141 connected to the first main-body-side terminal section 163 and an operation section 136 for operating the unit-side recording reproducing section 185, and being detachably mountable on the mounting section 23. The auxiliary recording medium unit 5 is mounted on the mounting section 23, thereby enabling the second main-body-side terminal section 166 to be closed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
