Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit protection element capable of improving responsiveness. SOLUTION: The circuit protection element comprises an insulated substrate 11, a pair of upper surface electrodes 12 arranged at both ends of the insulated substrate 11, an element section 13 formed to bridge the pair of upper surface electrodes 12 and electrically connected with the pair of upper surface electrodes 12, a base layer 14 arranged between the element section 13 and the insulated substrate 11, and an insulating layer 15 arranged to cover the element section 13.
