CARD HOLDER AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card holder and a communication method that can stabilize communication between a reader/writer and a contactless IC card by amplifying signals exchanged between the reader/writer and the contactless IC card. SOLUTION: The card holder is provided with: a holding part for holding, in a removable manner, a plurality of contactless IC cards capable of contactless communication with external devices; an external communication antenna for establishing contactless communication with an external device; card communication antennas for establishing contactless communication with the plurality of contactless IC cards held in the holding part; and an amplification part for amplifying a carrier signal transmitted from the external device which is received by the external communication antenna and a response signal to the carrier signal transmitted from each of the plurality of contactless IC cards which is received by the card communication antenna.
