Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which ensures good fixability as well as good transferability, excels particularly in offset resistance, and also excels in low-temperature fixability, by using: toner having a small particle diameter and a sharpened particle size distribution; and a fixing device of an electromagnetic induction heating system. SOLUTION: In the image forming method, the fixing device of the electromagnetic induction heating system is used and the toner for development includes at least a binder resin and a colorant, and is obtained by forming toner base particles in an aqueous medium containing dispersed resin fine particles. Toner particles of the toner have a volume average particle diameter of 3-8 μm, and a ratio of a volume average particle diameter (Dv) to number average particle diameter (Dn) ratio (Dv/Dn) is ≤1.25, the resin fine particles have a particle diameter of 45-55 nm, and the dispersion of the resin fine particles has an acid number of 45-55 mgKOH/g.
