PATTERN-FORMED SUBSTRATE, COLOR FILTER AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter of a striped or grid-like shape, without color irregularity by improving a pixel shape of a colored pattern in each opening. SOLUTION: The pattern-formed substrate is provided with: a transparent substrate; a partition wall pattern formed into an orthogonal grid-like shape on the transparent substrate; and the colored pattern which is divided by the partition wall pattern and has a plurality of colors. The colored pattern of each color is formed into an almost striped shape. The partition wall pattern comprises an X-direction partition wall pattern arranged in the direction almost perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of a stripe of the colored pattern and a Y-direction partition wall pattern arranged in the direction almost parallel to the longitudinal direction of the stripe of the colored pattern. The amount of a fluorine ion on the upper surface of the X-direction partition wall pattern is made smaller than that of the fluorine ion on the upper surface of the Y-direction partition wall pattern.
