Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a far-infrared ray releasing body effectively exhibiting the effects by the far-infrared ray and having a pleasant texture. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the far-infrared ray releasing body includes a biscuit-firing step for forming porcelain clay into a prescribed shape and biscuit-firing at 1,150-1,250°C, a glaze applying step for applying glaze containing fine powder of graphite silica stone on the surface after the biscuit-firing step and a firing step for firing at 700-830°C after the glaze applying step.
