WATER PURIFICATION CARTRIDGE AND WATER PURIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purification cartridge and a water purifier which can be miniaturized while preventing a deterioration in adsorptivity and handling easiness of molded activated carbon. SOLUTION: In the water purification cartridge, at least activated carbon 58 consisting of powder activated carbon and a binder is accommodated in a case 13, a passage T1 is formed between the activated carbon 58 and the inner wall of a case main body 13a, a lid body 13b closing the opening part 40 of the case main body 13a is disposed opposite to the activated carbon 58. At least a side surface contacting the passage T1 among the side surfaces of the activated carbon 58 is covered with nonwoven fabric 60.
