DESIGN SUPPORT DEVICE, DESIGN DOCUMENT EDITION METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce project costs by avoiding a design error by reducing the burden of a designer. SOLUTION: A constraint/type decision processing part 101 mounted on a computer main body 10, including a drawing relation extraction part 1011, a candidate information extraction part 1012 and a constraint/type confirmation part 1013, reads designated document information from document information 111 stored in an external storage device 11 based on document information such as a drawing selectively designated through an input device 12, and retrieves the types of all the elements of the design document included in the document information read based on retrieval value information 112 stored in the external storage device 11, and creates type relation information 114 (1), and extracts and displays the candidates of the constraints and types on an output device 13 according to constraint/type decision information 113 stored in the external storage device 11 from the created type relation information (2), and updates the document information stored in the external storage device 11 based on the candidates of the constraints and types selectively designated through the input device 12 (3).
