DEVELOPING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING DEVICE, AND PROCESS CARTRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device, an image forming device and a process cartridge, capable of preventing generation of flows on a photoreceptor due to contacting of a developing sleeve with the photoreceptor, and capable of preventing defects from being generated in an image. SOLUTION: Side seals 103 (cushioning members) are arranged and bonded in both end parts 651 of the developing sleeve 650, opposed to the photoreceptor 40, in a developing unit 61 provided with the developing sleeve 650 for conveying developer to a developing area opposed to the photoreceptor 40, by carrying the developer on a surface and by moving the surface, and reduced in the outside diameters of both the end parts 651 which are positioned at the outside of the outside diameter of the center part, including an image preparation area corresponding to an image forming area on the photoreceptor 40, among the outside diameters of the developing sleeve 650.
