IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having a reduced size for actualizing highly accurate lateral resist correction. SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises a linear carriage passage K2 having a lateral resist correcting means 30, a feed passage K1 combined with a combination part X arranged on the midway of the linear carriage passage K2 at the carrying-direction upstream side of the lateral resist correcting means 30 for carrying a recording medium P fed from a feed part 26 to the combination part X in the linear carriage passage K2, and a reversing means for reversing the carrying direction of the recording medium P to be carried to the lateral resist correcting means 30 after carrying the recording medium P carried from the feed passage K1 to the combination part X, into the linear carriage passage K2 in the direction of leaving the lateral resist correcting means 30.
