WEATHER STRIP FOR FIXED GLASS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more securely prevent water from exuding to a vehicle interior side in a weather strip for fixed glass. SOLUTION: The weather strip 4 for the fixed glass 3 is provided with a body part 16. The body part 16 is provided with an insertion groove part 15 which comprises a base part 17 and a vehicle interior side lateral wall part 18 and a vehicle exterior side lateral wall part 19 extended from both ends of the base part 17 and to which the fixed glass 3 is inserted. A drain hole 38 capable of discharging water downwardly is provided in a predetermined portion of the base part 17. A recessed part 31 forming a predetermined gap between the vehicle interior side lateral wall part 18 and the fixed glass 3 is provided in the vehicle interior side lateral wall part 18. An upper face part 32 of the recessed part 31 is formed to have a tapered shape. First and second vehicle interior side lip parts 24, 25 etc. are provided in the vehicle interior side lateral wall part 18, and the recessed part 31 is provided in the position offset in the height direction of the vehicle interior side lateral wall part 18 with respect to the first and second vehicle interior side lip parts 24, 25 etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
