COMPONENT MOUNTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting device capable of precisely determining whether or not the suction posture of a component to a suction nozzle is proper without decreasing a mounting cycle time. SOLUTION: The component mounting device includes a line sensor camera 23 comprising a projector 21 projecting inspection light in a horizontal direction and a line sensor 22 receiving the inspection light projected by the projector 21, and moves a reloading head 7 so that a component P before being mounted on a substrate 10 sucked to the suction nozzle 9 of the reloading head 7 may horizontally cross the optical axis 20 of the inspection light of the line sensor camera 23 at an angle θ of >0° to ≤45° in plane view, thereby making the line sensor camera 23 image the component P. Then it is determined whether or not the suction posture of the component P to the suction nozzle 9 is proper on the basis of an image DP of the component P obtained by imaging the component P by the line sensor camera 23.
