FUEL CELL POWER GENERATING SYSTEM AND PURE WATER SUPPLY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress excess pressure elevation in a pure water supply apparatus. SOLUTION: The pure water supply apparatus for supplying pure water to a fuel cell power generating apparatus 6 comprises an ion exchange resin container 3 accommodating an ion exchange resin 4, a raw water supply pipe 41 connected to the ion exchange resin container 3, a water supply means such as a pump 2 for pressure feeding raw water 10 stored in a water intake tank 1 via the raw water supply pipe 41 to the ion exchange resin container 3, a pure water supply pipe 11 extending from the ion exchange resin container 3 to the fuel cell power generating apparatus 6, a pressure relief pipe 12 connected to the ion exchange resin container 3, a pressure relief valve 5 which is provided in the midway of the pressure relief pipe 12 and opened when pressure in the ion exchange resin container 3 exceeds a prescribed value, a detection means such as a water gauge 20 for the water intake tank 1 for detecting that water flows in the pressure relief pipe 12, and a controller 42 for stopping the operation of the water feed means such as the pump 2 when the detection means detects that water flows in the pressure relief pipe 12.
