PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data processor for efficiently and clearly displaying on a screen document image data having a region wider than a display screen, and for suppressing a data storage capacity necessary for screen display, and for reducing the load of the display control operation of display equipment. SOLUTION: This image data processor is provided with a document image acquisition means for acquiring image data including a document; a document element extraction means for extracting document elements showing prescribed units of the document from the image data acquired by the document image acquisition means; a reading order specification means for specifying the order of reading the document elements extracted by the document element extraction means; and a division image generation means for referring to the reading order specified by the reading order specification means, and for dividing the document elements extracted by the document element extraction means into a plurality of regions, and for generating divided region images as division image data.
