COLOR FILTER, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS EQUIPPED THEREWITH AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which has a colored layer constituted by repeatedly arranging colored parts of three colors in order and which leaks no light from the colored part of any color when used in combination with a liquid crystal display apparatus. SOLUTION: In the color filter 10, the colored layer 11 constituted by arranging a colored part 12(R) of a first color, a colored part 12(B) of a second color, and a colored part 12(G) of a third color in this order with at least one direction as a repeating direction is directly or indirectly provided on an upper surface of a base material 16 having a light translucent region where visible light is transmitted and visible light passing through the light translucent region is colored in three colors. In this color filter, an outline shape of a perpendicular cross-section obtained by cutting colored parts 12 of the first color to the third color respectively in the repetition direction has substantially no inclination biassed toward one direction.
