Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency induction furnace capable of quickly melting an object to be melted while suppressing "a bridging phenomenon" and a molten material manufacturing method using the same. SOLUTION: The high frequency induction furnace comprises a cylindrical crucible 1 having a housing concave part for housing the object 4 to be melted, a high-frequency coil 2 arranged around the crucible 1, and a heated body 3A generating induction heating by high frequency from the high-frequency coil 2 for melting the object 4 to be melted. Inside the housing concave part of the crucible 1 or inside a surrounding wall composing the crucible 1, the heated body 3A is formed in a shape of regulating a melting start position of the object 4 to be melted, or provided at a position of regulating the melting start position.
