Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition control device in which a detection error occurring when the possibility of ignition is detected is suppressed. SOLUTION: An ignition device 11 comprises an ignition coil 13, a power supply part 16 connected to the primary coil 14 of the ignition coil 13, an ignition transistor 17 installed to adjust the supply of power from the power supply part 16 to the primary coil 14, and an ignition plug 12 connected to the secondary coil 15 of the ignition coil 13. An ECU 10 for controlling the multiple discharge of the ignition device 11 detects the possibility of ignition as follows. The ECU 10 detects the secondary current I2 flowing between the electrodes of the ignition plug 12 with an ignition voltage applied between the electrodes, detects that the ignition occurs when the state in which the secondary current I2 is equal to or more than a reference current value is continued for a predetermined reference time or longer, and detects that the ignition does not occur the state in which the secondary current I2 is equal to or more than the reference current value is not continued for the reference time or longer.
