Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-grade cotton yarn, i.e. extrafine cotton yarn which cannot be produced by conventional spinning methods. SOLUTION: The method for producing an extrafine cotton yarn includes the following steps: A hard-twist spun yarn is manufactured by mix-spinning cellulosic staple fibers such as cotton and polyester staple fibers together, and a plurality of these hard-twist spun yarns are double-twisted into a hard-twist doubled yarn. This hard-twist doubled yarn is immersed in an aqueous caustic soda solution to dissolve and remove the polyester, thus obtaining a fine cotton plied yarn. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
